Our story
It started at home
Riseley Building Group began the way a lot of good things do — at home. Tim and Carlie Riseley renovated their own family homes, learned what works (and what doesn't) from the inside, and turned that experience into a building company that treats every client's home like its own.
Tim brings over 18 years in the building industry, including as founder and director of Detail Roof Plumbing — a respected Melbourne roofing and cladding company whose team carries more than 30 years of combined trade expertise. That background means RBG projects are run by someone who understands every layer of a build, from the frame to the flashing. Carlie keeps the projects — and the paperwork — running to plan. Together with a trusted crew of talented local tradies, we handle renovations, extensions and custom builds across Melbourne.
We're a registered Victorian builder and carry the insurances and warranties your project requires — but what we're proudest of is simpler: clients who'd have us back.

Talk
We start with a conversation — your ideas, your budget, your timeline. Straight answers from day one, and a site visit to see what we're really working with.
Plan
Design, permits, engineering and a fixed, itemised quote. We'd rather spend an extra week planning than a month fixing — no surprises buried in the fine print.
Build
An experienced crew on site, a single point of contact, and progress updates you don't have to chase. Decisions come to you before they're needed, never after.
Handover
Detailed walkthrough, full warranty documentation, and a home that's ready for the next chapter of family life.
